Strong Core Attends Second USGBC South Florida
Organizing Group Meeting
September 24, 2003, Miami, FL.
Twenty Five professionals representing manufacturers, government
and the building industry were in attendance at the Knoll Furniture
Showroom in Miami, Tuesday night continuing the leadership in
the formation of the United States Green Building Council South
Florida Chapter.
A wide range of topics was discussed and plans of action are
underway to move the Chapter's status from an Organizing Group
to full Chapter status on the National Level. One topic that the
diverse group felt was a priority was awareness. Increasing awareness
of Green Building and its benefits to the South Florida population
will be one of the first and most difficult goals for the Chapter.
