| Community Greenhouse Foundation Sponsors Greening of NEPA Wine Event

August 27, 2008 - Orlando, Florida - The Community Greenhouse Foundation has sponsored the adaption of a “Green Sustainable Focus” for one of the premier wine events in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
The third annual “igourmet.com Fork & the Cork” event put on annually by Foundation strategic partner igourmet.com is bringing together over 2000 members of the region to enjoy gourmet selections and some of the finest wines, specialty cheese and gourmet foods from around the world. Proceeds from the event benefit Misericordia University’s, Women with Children Program. The Women With Children Program is designed for academically qualified single mothers of all ages, providing them with the opportunity to attend classes while living on the Misericordia campus, with their children.
The “Green Focus” of the event includes showcasing products and practices utilized by leaders in the wine and gourmet food industry. The Foundation also has agreed to sponsor the establishment of a new “Green Communities” web portal www.Greennepa.com to bring Green Sustainable education and information to the communities of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
