How does a municipality help its community Go Green?
In Fort Lauderdale, it's with an outdoor get together featuring environmental booths and displays, plus various foods, educational materials and interactive activities for the whole family. This year’s Green Expo will highlight “energy efficient” and “water reduction” products and practices to help homeowners reduce their electric and water use at home, and introduce businesses to innovative and new products.
Last year’s inaugural event played host to over 45 exhibitors and was attended by over 1,500 residents of the South Florida Community. CGF launched GreenFtLauderdale.com, an online forum for all things green in South Florida, to promote the event and provide a resource for business and residents to discover ways to green up and conserve

Since last year, over 48,000 unique users have visited the site. For more information please visit the Community Greenhouse Foundations “Green Community” program portal www.GreenFtLauderdale.com
